Directions

The Studio is part of the Old School conversion in the centre of Blairgowrie, at the foot of the Grampian Mountains. Blairgowrie developed at the crossroads of several historic routes with links from the town to Perth, Coupar Angus and Braemar.

By Air

There is national and international access from Dundee (35 minutes), Aberdeen (1 hour 25 minutes), Edinburgh (1 hour 20 minutes) and Glasgow (1 hour 40 minutes) airports. Each airport has a taxi rank outside, alternatively if you let us know your flight details we will arrange for a dedicated driver to meet you and bring you to The Studio.

By Train

The nearest major railway stations are in Perth and Dundee, each approximately 35 minutes away by road. On the scenic route north between Perth and Inverness there is also a small station at Dunkeld & Birnam (25 minutes away).

Coming from Perth…

Follow the A93 from Perth into the south-west of Blairgowrie, and continue along Perth Road until you reach the town centre. When you reach the T-junction at the Royal Hotel and Boots Pharmacy turn left up the hill on to Upper Allan Street. Take the second left turn into the car park at the Old School. Turn right straight away, and ForthRoad’s parking spaces are the first three on the right hand side (with the EV charging point).

Coming from Dundee…

Follow the A923 from Dundee into the south-east of Blairgowrie, and continue along Coupar Angus Road. Turn left at the mini-roundabout on to Reform Street (the start of the one way system). Turn right at the top of the road onto the high street, and when you reach the T-junction at the Royal Hotel and Boots Pharmacy turn left up the hill on to Upper Allan Street. Take the second left turn into the car park at the Old School. Turn right straight away, and ForthRoad’s parking spaces are the first three on the right hand side (with the EV charging point).

Coming from Aberdeen…

Leave the A90 at the Glamis Junction and follow the A94 to Meigle, and then the B954 and A926 into the east side of Blairgowrie. After crossing the bridge over the River continue straight on Wellmeadow and Gas Brae, and take the fourth turn on the right onto Reform Street. Turn right at the top of the road onto the high street, and when you reach the T-junction at the Royal Hotel and Boots Pharmacy turn left up the hill on to Upper Allan Street. Take the second left turn into the car park at the Old School. Turn right straight away, and ForthRoad’s parking spaces are the first three on the right hand side (with the EV charging point).

From the car park, walk past the white building and down six steps to the courtyard. The Studio is on your left.
